about a "driver on the way to Cornwall, seeing a car seat along
the side of the road, with a baby in it"...
This email states it is from Bernadette McCann House.  

THIS IS NOT TRUE! 

Please delete this email should you receive it. Also, please tell
whoever sent it to you - that it is NOT VALID.   Thank you for your

Volunteer Board Members

The Board of Directors is the governing body of Bernadette McCann House for Women Inc. The Board collectively sets policies aned goals, approves annual budgets and monitors the overall financial health of the Agency. This is a five year tern.

Volunteering at Bernadette McCann House is about making a difference.

Bernadette McCann House is a unique place to volunteer. In addition to sorting donations, providing childcare, and crisis line support, volunteers assist with office duties, help in the kitchen, work in the yard, drive clients, share their computer skills and co-facilitate groups and workshops. The variety of volunteer opportunities offers flexibility to accommodate many interested individuals.

Volunteering at Bernadette McCann House is about caring, advocating, commitmnet and dedication. It is about the difference that individuals can make in the community, in our organization, and in the lives of others.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in Bernadette McCann House  We are currently recruiting Volunteers for:

Bingo volunteers:  Required to work at Bingo Country in Pembroke in conjunction with the United Way. Must be available Tuesday evenings, 4-5hr. Dates and Times are flexible. Early Bingo's are: 4.30 - 9pm . Late Bingo's are: 8.15pm to Midnight. (Training provided. Snacks & dinner provided)

Court Accompaniment: Must have drivers license and be available from 9am - 4pm when accompanying clients. (Training provided)

Fundraising & Awareness Events: Men and Women are welcome to provide support to our fundraising events. If you like a Project to work on that's fun and time limited, you will like this volunteer opportunity.
