Bernadette McCann House  relies on community events to help meet fundraising goals. We are appreciative of those community members who host special fundraising events on behalf of our agency. These events are an important source of funds for the shelter. Your support can make all the difference to those who are dealing with abuse and violence in their lives. These events also help by spreading awareness about violence in our community and the services offered at Bernadette McCann House. Each year members of the community, businesses, churches, and schools host third-party events.

Bernadette McCann House requires Sponsoring Groups to meet with staff prior to hosting an event. If you would like to host a third-party event on behalf of the agency, please contact the Volunteer/Public Education Coordinator at 613-732-7776 Ext. 105.

Bernadette McCann House receives funding from the Ontario Government; however this funding does not cover all of our operating costs. We rely on the generosity of members of the community who donate money, household or food items, leave bequests, or plan a third party fundraising event on behalf of the organization. Powdered cleaner for tubs & sinks
Please ensure that all items fit into a bucket

3. Support a Family at Christmas
Adopt-A-Family —Christmas is a difficult time for some families. Over the past 10 years, BMH has initiated a project to ensure that single moms with children, and single women in need are anonymously given a special gift at Christmas time. The adopt-a-family project would not be possible without generous support from Community organizations such as schools, OPP, church groups, and businesses.

We sincerely appreciate donations. You may choose to make a financial donation to the organization. If you wish to do so, please make cheque payable to Bernadette McCann House. If you require a tax receipt please inform the Administration when making your donation.
